Modern game design often hides its logic behind layers of high-fidelity distraction. At XATARIXV, we embrace Brutalist Game Design. We want the player to see the wires, feel the weight of the constraints, and interact with systems that don't apologize for being digital.

Our work isn't about comfort. It's about the friction between the user and the machine. We build Interactive Media in KL that challenges the "seamless" myth, replacing it with meaningful, textured difficulty.

No hidden assistance. If a mechanic feels heavy, it's because it weighs something in our physics engine. We don't smooth out the edges for the sake of accessibility; we let the player learn the texture.

Interactive Media KL: Prototype Alpha

Constraint

The environment has no artificial lighting. Visibility is strictly dictated by the player's intentional actions, not visual convenience.

Approach

We developed a ray-casting system that mimics physical light bounce on concrete. Sound cues become the primary navigational tool in complete darkness.

Outcome

A heightened sensory experience that forces the player to listen to the architecture before they move through it. True Experimental Game Development.
